Hi, I am Cathy also from the UK.
I have been an owner of Janome machines for nearly 30 years and I absolutely love them. I also decided to up-grade from my MC11000SE to the new Horizon 12000 at the launch show this month. I have asked for my new machine to be delivered next Friday so I am really looking forward to trying out this new model. I have been using the Horizon 7700 as well but have now sold that to help finance the 12000. I live in the South East of the UK and hope some of the other UK owners may live reasonably near. Hi Cathy and Linda - I'm in Milton Keynes so not that far from Linda.
Cathy - just curious about how you've requested to have your machine delivered on friday? I also signed up last week at Ally Pally for the 12000 but haven't heard anything yet from Janome. I haven't owned a Janome sewing machine before but I do have a 350e embroidery machine and an overlocker. My other machines are a Bernina (which I'm going to sell) and a Brother, but I'm sure I'll get used to the 12000 very quickly as I've been really happy with the Janomes I've owned so far. Vicki |

It was just by chance that I happened to 'phone Stockport last Friday about another question and was asked about when I would like to take delivery. As I am away all next week, I opted to have it delivered on Friday. I expect you will hear sometime this week. I will hopefully spend next weekend having a good "play". Hope we hear soon, but I know they will sort it all out ASAP, on the sales notice it did say they anticipated all delivered by the 24th , so possibly next week for all of us ! Took my part ex in to the dealership yesterday so that is all sorted as well.
