Digitizer MBX
The photo is quite small, so most of it is illegible. From what I can see, it looks like MBX is complaining about having been moved incorrectly. To function without a dongle a different type of security is used. When it is installed the first time a kind of “fingerprint” is created consisting of the serial number of the computer chip and various other parts of the system. When installing to a new computer this fingerprint must be transferred using a special utility. The download for that is attached to this message. It’s quite a delicate process and you must follow the instructions precisely. If you attempt to run MBX before the transfer it will error out, which is probably what you are seeing. The only solution is to uninstall it completely, then install again but do not run until the transfer has finished.

Donna, I sure do wish you had followed my suggestion on March 11 for how to transfer your program before you went to the Geek Squad and wasted your time and money!
I know one other person who also tried going to them for help and that had the same 'no result'.
If you follow the instructions, it will work seamlessly!
I'm now also attaching the instruction document again.
There is one problem you may encounter, which is that because Janome doesn't support Digitizer anymore and it seems they have removed the actual .exe file from the Global site.
Maybe, Jim can upload it to the group?

Hi
I spend a couple of hours with the Geek Squad today and thought we were going to be successful with moving software to new computer. We ended up with this error message. I still want to make this work and look forward to any suggestions.
Thanks

Here is a link to my Google Drive where I have saved the transfer license information and the .exe file to actually make the transferring license work.
Janome Global has removed the files from their site.
It is a restricted link, so the only way to get there and download it is through this link!

I took your instructions with me and that is what we used. I bought my computer there so it only cost me time and the young man spent a lot of time on my project. There is something that it can’t find but I’m determined to get through this. There is a problem getting my long arm software to load also.

You’re probably getting plenty frustrated by now!
You have to have the .exe file to make the transfer and you probably didn’t have it at the time you went to Geek?

I was able get the software on my new computer yesterday. Such a great feeling!
