clothsetter fior MC 15000

The arm of my clothsetter for the 15000 is out of alignment. What should I do to fix it? Which screws on the arm do I try to adjust?

The process is the same for the 15000. The only tricky bit is that when you loosen the screws to move the attaching plate, it may not want to move where you need it to be to line up. On the bottom the clips that the screws go into have points that dig into the plastic. They may be stuck, so the plate won’t move well. When the screws are loose you can tap the screws on top or pull the clips from the bottom to free them. |

It is not the plate, I have done that before. This is the actual arm, it is over to the left about 1/2 inch, I can force it to the center but of course it doesn't stay there. I thought perhaps I could do something with the screws that attach the arm to the unit or with the screws located near where the bottom of the arm reaches the midddle of the attached hoop.

Barb, it's impossible for the arm to be off by 1/2" or anything as the hinge is precisely sized for the arm to swing up and down on. It might be more likely that the hinge where the clear plastic connects to the white has come loose? If so, you just need to tighten up the screws to align it again. Or has it sat in the hot sun and gotten warped? ~Favymtz It is not the plate, I have done that before.
