Acustitch and Horizon Link

Deborah, I’ll try to explain it better.

STX files are created in Stitch Composer and used on the sewing side of the machine.
What we’re doing is converting stx decorative stitch files into a jef embroidery file to be used in embroidery.
Horizon link only has a basic version of the function on the tool called “Convert Stx” and can only make circles and lines.
AcuStitch costs about $35, and makes many other shapes and includes many of the built in decorative stitches on the 15000.
The program runs independently from Horizon Link and can be used to create designs for all the Janome embroidery machines.
Hope that this helps!

So the upgrade to Horizon Link was not supposed to have all the options, is that correct?

Yes, it must be purchased, and after it’s installed it’s a separate program. The simple version will still continue to work in HLS.
