Accuflex removal question
Pixey
I was at a class and actually used my Accuflex foot from my 9450 (same design as the 15000). This is the first time I have used it in a long time because I usually use the AcuFeed on my 6600P. I have a moderately lame question. How do you get the dual feed link lever to release when you are ready to remove the foot?

Good question! I just start to unscrew it and jiggling it off causes it to release!
Is that what others of you all do?

Ok, I feel better now. Your method was the same way I got it off. But I felt klutzy doing it. I kept thinking there should be a smoother way to release it.

Yup, You girls have got it right. That AucFeed Flex foot is something else to put on as the screw that holds everything in place always falls off while I’m attaching the foot. The little hook on the back is a breeze compared to attaching the rest of the foot. However, in taking it off, everything, except that screw, comes off easily. I used to have that hook come out of place on the first machines I had that used it, but I’ve not had any problem in a few years. I do check every so often just to make sure that it doesn’t detach from its home position. I use this foot very often as it feeds so well - also the HP2 with the correct needle plate, of course. I really like how they sew.

I will quit wondering if I am going to break it! LOL
I was working on the sashing for a quilt as you go ruler work project and I have to admit I was very pleased with how it sewed with the Quarter inch guide (OD) and Stitch in the Ditch foot.
