Winding up another year
This page has a download that may correct the problem: https://www.wilcom.com/gethelp/support/faqs/sentinelrun-timeenvironment(h0033)error.aspx
Looking at Janome sites, it does not appear that this is supported software. However it was created by Wilcom for Janome, so hopefully that will fix it. |

Happy New Year Ann,
I can sympathize with your new iPad problem. I’ve been there almost each time I upgrade my iPhone and I think I may have a problem or two when I got a new iPad in about 2018. I think that if you go to the APP Store and see what the version is there you can do an update for it. Another thing you could try is to delete the APP from the iPad and download it as a “new” app. I should be in the APP Store and just need downloading. You shouldn’t lose anything because you still will have it on your phone. I found that when I remove an app icon from my device, I can’t seem to get it back on the screen so that I can just “shortcut” to open it, I have had to go to the Store and open an app from there - I’ve done that more than once - what can I say, I guess I have to admit that I’m getting old. Jim and Diane, We are so fortunate to have you in our sewing lives. We can be assured you will give accurate information on any of our sewing needs. I have been a Janome user since the MC8000. Don’t know what I would have done without Jim’s technical expertise back then.

Happy New Year to all. I have been a reader/lurker for many years and have learned so much from all or you who are so willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Thank you.
I begin the new year with a problem. I have a new iPad, my FootBook and My 12000 appears to have transferred over and the FootBook works fine but the My 12000 will not open, message says it needs updating for this iPad. Is there a solution? Fortunately it still works on my phone but I do prefer the larger screen. Thanks. Ann Bonnelli |

I want to thank everyone and especially Jim and Diane for making this my most read list.
I have not done much sewing over the last 5 years - 4 years in a house that had a huge 2 acre garden (no fields and no possibility of getting tractors or hedge cutting machines in, so we had to do everything by hand and a small ride on mower). Way too much work, and no time for hobbies. The last year we spent several months getting the place ready for sale - it sold in 24 hrs - and then 6 months in a caravan while we waited for the owners of the house we have bought to have their new build house completed. It still wasn't completed when we moved in but they eventually moved in with their son as we pushed to get in before Nov. Since they we have been unpacking and replacing all the various appliances that either didn't work, or were on their way out - and now for the last 3 days I've had time to sort my sewing studio out and have a space for sewing. The 15000 is still in it's box but at least I now have a table I can put it on. I have forgotten so much about it and embroidery over this last 5 years, but I know this website will be invaluable to help me regain all the skills I have lost. I'm really looking forward to 2023, reading much more of the posts, and just sitting sewing. Many thanks to everyone for providing all the info that becomes invaluable! Happy New Year! Happy new year. Yes I too have been following for a long time. I don’t remember what year I first met Jim at Janome Institute in Las Vegas. I took classes from Jim and Diane at retreats in Raleigh, NC. And Salisbury, Md. i remember when Jim was our best source for tech info because the Janome educators didn’t think we older ladies would want to learn. With Jim’s help I was able to learn and even teach customers how to use their computers so the could really use the software and enjoy their experience. I think that the challenges offered by it all have allowed me to keep my brain functioning and now that I’m in my 90’s I appreciate that I can still enjoy learning new things. it is sometimes hard to realize that the Janome 8000 was introduced in 1990 and how much the machines have come in just 32 years. I also recognize sone of the names of people who have been on this amazing journey with us. Although I would love to get the the newest machine, I will continue to learn and enjoy my MC 15000 and Digitizer. |

Jim I have the Digitizer Jr that has a dongle. I have had it for awhile but when I went to use it the other day it would not work a notice came up ie: unable to access HASP SRA RUN-time environment (HOO33) this makes no sense to me so how do I get my Ditgitizer back working? Thanks Shirley

Jim and Diane, We go along way back to the late 90's, the 9000, and Peggy and Charles Wade. I wonder if they are still with us.🤔 You have been a blessing to all of us through the years and these last couple of years have been challenging for all. I am so grateful and thankful for all that you do for us....I wish you both health, happiness and peace in the New Year.....Sara 🙂

Sending New Year Wishes to all the group. I have followed you all for as many years as the groups have been going. My best wishes to Jim and Dianne for 2023! I live in Alberta, Canada and bought my machines at Red Deer Sewing Center from Rolly and Karen. They have now sold the store to new owners. I would like to use this medium to wish my best to them and all the ladies that came to our monthly Janome club meetings. I know that many of you follow Jim and Diane so wish you all the best in 2023. I had a brain bleed in early October, am still at home and able to look after myself but can’t drive. My best to all my sewing friends! Bev Leischner |
