Winding up another year
Well we've managed to make it through another year. While not as devastating as the two preceding it, 2022 has not been a picnic in the park. Prices of everything have been soaring, particularly at the grocery store. Even the weather has gotten strange. In one week we might make our 5k morning walk in T-shirts and shorts or in arctic-grade parkas. It seems like our best option is to just take on one day at a time.
This list is now just over 11 years old, but its legacy goes all the way back to the early 90s as the list started by Charles and Peggy Wade. The Memory Craft 9000 was the new kid on the block then, and we all were eager to learn all we could do with it. Much has changed since then, but this community has remained a refuge for the kinds of people we would all love to have as neighbors. The caring and sharing nature of the members is a welcome break from the harsh realities we have to deal with. We thank all of you for being who you are, and for supporting us for so many years. We wish you happiness, health, peace, and joy in the coming year. Happy New Year! Jim & Diane |

Happy New Year to list members and to Jim and Diane. The year certainly has had the ups and downs and the country has had the problems Jim speaks of. I keep praying this will subside and we will get our America back very soon. The friendliness on this list and the helpfulness of the members all reflect the tone set by Jim and Diane and I know we are all so very grateful for that. Add to that the amount of knowledge that is given to us by both of them and how helpful that is! Thank you to everyone who is always so very helpful... I have had a Janome since the days of the 9000 and still keep learning so many things many times over. Everyone have a safe New Year celebration and may America get back on track with our greatness. Thanking you both for all the help through the years (I remember those Wade days fondly - we were all learning "SEW" much about these "new fangled" sewing/embroidery machines). Y'all have been an inspiration to "sew" many and are appreciated more than you'll ever know. Happy New Year to all. Happy New Year to all! Jim, didn't Wade's list start with Memory Craft 8000? My golly that was over 25 years ago! When did we get older?!!! You have helped all of us over the years use our machines better, explore new techniques and give people a back up when their dealer is not keeping up their part of service. Thank you for helping me as a dealer and now as a Janome user.

Yes, Wades may well have started with the 8000. As you say, it’s been a quarter century ago and I have slept since then!

Jim & Diane:
I am extremely grateful for all your hard work. Without your help and the help of this awesome list, I would be lost in the woods instead of understanding my sewing/embroidery machines. Thank you for all that you do. Happy New Year! Roberta in FL |
