I remember someone was missing a foot for sewing un-even surfaces.
Have you seen the rotary foot? It’s like a little Caterpillar.

Does this foot work with the 12000 or 15000? They are not on the list of models the foot works with. Irene Consulting FootBook , Jim says: The rotary even foot is a 7mm snap-on foot. It can be used on 9mm machines, such as the 12000 and 15000, if attached to a 7mm foot holder. |

Thanks, Cas. I have seen this foot but what little scuttlebutt I've seen on it is that it is a bit touchy and fragile. Clever though! I am very happy with my Pfaff compensating foot on the 15000; it does just what I want. F'instance, I was doing edge stitching on 9 layers and the regular wide feet just wouldn't stitch nicely. The compensating foot just snuggled up to the edge and worked well. Since I have a bit of a 'foot fetish' for my machines, I'm always glad to hear about another option.
