Using vacuum to clean machine?

I have just purchased a Shark vacuum that comes with a mini cleaning set.  Is it ok to use this to clean inside the machine instead of using either the little brush or the can of air?


Often mistaken for a can of air, Jim says:

I used a similar vacuum at the store for cleaning machines. It's very effective and perfectly OK to use.
