Thanks for the kind words Sheila. As soon as the new optional feet for the 12000 are available from janome we will be adding a 9mm category and releasing an updated version of FootBook. It will be free to all current owners.

BTW, Jim, I just love your Footbook app for the I-pad. It is really very useful and I hope that at some stage, you will do the same for the 12000 machine.

The 11000 is a great machine, and will give you many years of enjoyment.

I don't think you will just be satisfied with the 11000 Ann, I think you will be thrilled!!!!  It is a marvelous machine. Right now I am using it for sewing - in particular Quilt Piecing using the J embroidery attachment (I don't know the official name for this attachment but it looks like a Capitol J) to get perfect 1/4 inch seams. I don't know if the 12000 has that feature or not.
 
I use the 8 x 8 Hoop and the Acufil 7 x 7 Hoop a lot to embroider.
