That chair from wawak looks like a really comfortable chair! My issue is I need a tall chair for the stand up Koala desk, but I need narrow wheel base because my studio is so cramped, and because the desk has a floor board. Most chairs come with a 25” wheel base, as does the one you show here from wawak. It’s for stability so they don’t tip over.
I cobbled together a task chair on a narrow base from one chair (one of those mechanic stools with the motorcycle seat on it) and an office task chair, and took the back from another chair for some lumbar support. I padded the seat with dense foam. It matches my ironing board since I covered them both with the same fabric.
The Koala chair that came with my desk had such a wide wheel base that I could not roll it close enough to the machine, since the stand up desk has a foot board that gets in the way. It really killed my neck and back leaning forward. I notice on Sewing With Nancy they also sit quite far from the desk and lean forward so maybe the sit down desks have the same floor board in the way?
Also, the model I had seemed to be very hard, with very little padding. We decided not to even keep it for use in the dining bar as hubby found it uncomfortable too. Cas |

I purchased the task chair from wawak.com when my granddaughter was
learning to sew & the chair with casters kept rolling with her when she
pressed the footpedal. It’s a very comfortable chair with lots of support
& they have the rolling casters for it if you need them. seat height
adjusts from 16 to 21 inches.

I too have back problems and I think the bungee chair is THE BEST!!!! I have other high dollar sewing chairs (I don’t remember if they are Koala but they did come from a sewing store) and the bungee chair is the best for my back.

I love my Koala chair! But it is very similar to an office chair I use. I received the KoalA chair with a table purchase. And needed it because I bought the 35” table height so my chair raises high enough to reach the table. Office chairs don’t do that.
