On the 15000 is there a specific stitch to use to tac two pieces together, or what is the best way to do that? I have a purse bottom to sew on an it will be very awkward and difficult to see together

I cannot get my mc to allow me to use this foot. I have a regular foot plate on and the m foot, but when I go to use it the overedge area is greyed out. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong
