Puckers in embroidery
I too have issues with puckers. I use midweight stabilizer and then ‘float’ a lightweight piece of stabilizer under that. I make sure that the design is tight in the hoop. That seems to help enormousl

I have the DC2014 and I love it. The speed control is great and the auto threader ALWAYS works (as opposed to my 15000 which is hit or miss), and I purchased one of those after market presser foot set

I think the dual feed is not supported for decorative stitches. The manual says you can use dual feed only with U1-U4 and Q1-Q7 stitches. If you are using it for decorative stitches it won't allow you
