Recommendation for used sewing & embroidery machine
I'd be interested in knowing the going price for a 12000 - in case I get overwhelmed at a demo for the new machine and think I would like to trade. (I also have a 15000 which then I would use to trave

Janome 12000 and 14000
I agree with lyn. I take my 12000 to class and will trade for the new machine if Janome ever comes out with one! At home, I use a 15000 but almost always use USB sticks to transfer designs rather than

I meceived a message from the American Sewng Guild about the mediate need for face masks, how to make them & where to send them. If you are able to help please read the article. We are all home & have lots of time on our hands lets do what we can to help. Shirley
I can't find the link on how to make them. I've been making some for our food bank workers but they will be outdoors so no pocket for a filter.

Heavy Duty machines
I bought an inexpensive Singer "heavy duty" for sewing jean purses and found that my Janomes (9400, 12000, 15000) sew thru all of those layers better. And, after being use to Janomes and computerized,

RE18 hoop
did you go to page 2 of your hoops? The RE 18 was added so it is last on the list, not in order as to its size.

Using a USB extension cord
If all you want to do is plug a cable into your machine that you can then plug various thumb drives into without always plugging them into your machine, you need something like this: https://www.amazo

If you load your USB stick to the max, it will take a long time to load in your machine. Better to use a smaller stick and move designs on and off as needed. I like 1 GB or smaller but you can use big

I also had an 11000 but now just a 12000 and a 15000 but lots of things about embroidery and sewing apply to all machines and Jim is so good about helping that this is the place to be.

Instead of zigzag, why don't you use the applique stitch/blanket stitch?
