New machine thoughts
If this new model is US$22000, today's cash conversion rate means it will cost around Au$31000, so there is absolutely NO way it's in my future...but that's Ok too because I bought a slightly used 150

Judy do you have an old non-working/parts machine in the cupboard? Or maybe beg/borrow/buy/steal one from your local marketplace group in your area, then you could do a 'practice run' on that machine

Currently I own a Janome 500E and also a Janome 9450 which means I can continue sewing while the 500E is doing her thing and producing great embroidery, I have owned combo (sewing/embroidery) machines
