Twin needles
The Elna EL x 705 ZWI is the right set twin needle - only comes in 2.0/90 as far as I know. You would of course need to use the zig zag plate on your machine. https://www.sewingpartsonline.com/twin-ne

Interesting article on update to Acusketch
Seems you can now export to jef+ so you don't need wifi to use. Haven't really read it yet but sounds interesting https://janomelife.wordpress.com/2017/12/22/free-update-to-janome-acusketch-app/ Anne

Faviola I'm curious to know what exactly the tech did to your 6600. I can't see how adjusting the port on the 15000 would make it easier to reach the knee lift as where ever it reaches from it's curre

Bobbin winder
It happened to me too quite a while back and now I always check that I have it threaded correctly and the thread is at the right angle before I start winding. I ended up using a small pair of sissors

Thread jumping out of the takeup lever
I've had this happen occasionally. When it happened to me I put my finger nail under the latch on the take up lever and very gently pulled it up a bit as it appeared to flat against the take up lever

My 15000 won’t sew with polyester thread
I can use any thread I like on my 15000 - even cheap thread from India and China, provided I check that it is wound tightly - a few spools from some of the batches are pants - then I just stick a red

15000 update
All I can say is that I'm glad I've decided not to upgrade. I'm not a quilt maker and have a perfectly functioning machine and needle threader. I don't intend to trade in my 15000 so it makes no diffe

The upgrade
Cas I believe HP stands for High Performance - but don't quote me on that! From what people have said the update seems to be more in order to use the new quilting tools to make it into the 'Quilt Make

Anyone have problem with the update for the 15000?
I'm beginning to think I won't bother with the update - haven't actually installed the one for couching either. What benefit does this upgrade give you? I'm probably only really thinking about it as m

Hand quilting by machine?
I tried this a while back and really liked the effect. I think there are 4 stitches in the handquilting section on the 15000. I tried it with red on the top and black on the bottom which gave the effe

janome quilt toppere
Thanks for the explanation. I would think if the quilt wasn't near the machine bed but laid on top of the hoop then there would need to be some adjustment in the tension of both top and bottom to form
