Best software for beginner. Not planning on digitalizing
You don’t say what you want to do with the software, do you want to digitise, or just view a downloaded design? Few software packages come with a written manual, most have online manuals, easy to sear

Larger hoop for 15000?
As an after thought, I would love a bigger hoop for the 15, I do suffer hoop envy often, but I wonder if that would mean a new embroidery unit on the back with a longer arm.

Larger hoop for 15000?
I’ve had a 12000 for about 6-7 years and they did add the RE18 to it, had a free software download for it but had to buy the hoop. I think there was also a free machine download to fix a bug, not sure

I’ve read this before and it would seem it’s because it’s a purchased design which is already a stitch format, if it was the native file it would work. You are trying to mix formats, digitising format
