Rewind in my 15000
I'm viewing on my iPad mini and can't rewind or forward on the videos. I can pause ok - and found out how to turn the music off, but this has me stumped at the moment. What am I doing wrong? Anne www.

Thread wrapped around bobbin holder.
This happened to me last year. I ended up using a small sissors and a pair of tweezers to snip and then unwind a bit of thread at a time as I just couldn't find the end once I'd unwound all that came

Thread wrapped around bobbin holder.
Thanks for confirming that it should move Jim - not that I've tried it lately but did a while back. Is it possible to remove it completely or is it required to be in place to wind the bobbin properly

recommended IPAD for Janome 12000 with other uses
You can get keyboard cases to fit all iPads as far as I am aware. I've recently bought one of 'Coopers Cases' with a backlit key board for my iPad mini 2 and I love it as I'm not keen on touch dev

No thread sewing on 12000?
Its useful to turn off both bobbin and top thread sensors sometimes. You can create several copies of a design at once by placing several sheets of tracing paper under a printed design and stitching w

Thanks for the reminder about the cloth guide Jim. It's something I've tried to use but find it doesn't butt up to the fabric exactly where I want it. From memory I think it butts in front of the foot

When I bought my 15000 in UK - must be 2 years ago now - the free code had a limited life - I think about a year. I didn't use it as I didn't have an iPad then. I must admit I haven't tried to use it
