1/4 inch piecing foot
Hi, I'm new to the group and enjoying it very much. I've ordered a 12000 and it will be arriving in a week or so. I've read about trouble piecing an accurate 1/4 inch with the included 1/4 inch foot.

Thanks for the info. I was happy with the 1/4" foot on my 11000. Never had to adjust it; it just worked for me. But with the things I read about the 1/4" foot that comes with the 12000, I am concerned

Update for RE18 hoop
How exactly does one do an update? My dealer always did them for me when I had the 11000, but from what I'm reading I suppose I can do it myself? Just don't know what it entails. TIA, Kay
