Thanks everyone!  It is the Tree-mend-ous design.  I bought it on Embroidery.com.  And I can download it again, thankfully.

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can remember an embroidery design that was popular a couple years or so ago for a huge embroidered Christmas tree.  I bought it as a download and had never stitched it out.  We had computer problems a year or so ago and ended up getting a new computer.  I'm afraid I lost that design.

Would anyone know the company and design?  I'm sorry for being so vague on my descript ion!  I remember it would take a long time and multiple hoopings to stitch out.

If I can find the company and the design, I'm hoping I can download it again.  Somewhere I had printed out the directions for the embroidery but not finding that in my messy sewing room either!

Thanks for any help,

Marla, in the state of confusion

Janome 12000 stitch names

Judy Albert

Dear group,
Is there a file of stitch names for the 12000?  I have the 6500 and 9900 stitch names from a 2005 post from the Janome 6500 group that was derived from the Singer  machine names.  I woulld like to know the names of the MC12000 stitches coss referenced to their numbers since they are different from the 6500 and 9900.   I checked the files and attachments on the 12000 yahoo groups but couldn't find the stith names. Thanks in advance.

Hi again,

Well, it was the Tree-mendous design.  I bought it on Embroidery.com.

The good news is I had an account with them.  The lady I spoke with told me as long as I had an account I could log in and download it again.  So glad!

Thanks everyone.  I might check out the one from BFC Creations sometime.

By the way, does everyone know about Hatched in Africa designs?  I just found out about them Tuesday when I took another class on my 15000.  One of the ladies had stitched out their Giraffe design that has jewels.  It is stunning.  Guess she also has one called Jacobean Peacock.  It looks like a large project but beautiful.  I put some designs on my wishlist!

Then there is a link for another company to buy the "bling" items. :)

Thanks again,

Marla, saved from a state of confusion ;)

Jim, This may be a silly question but how do we determine if a design is a micro embroidery design or not? Is there some way of knowing if we should be using a finer thread or needle?

How do we know which of the designs on the 15000 are micro embroidery designs?

As you can tell I am finding this a little confusing.

Thanks for any clarification.

Bev in Alberta

With a jaunty micro wave, Jim replies:
The only micro embroidery designs I've seen were those in the Janome Micro Embroidery Kit for the MB-4. On the 15000 the only micro embroidery is the micro Gothic font for doing very small letters.

Thanks, Joy.
It works on Chrome but not when I tried my usual, Firefox.
Chrome seems very similar to Firefox now and I may continue to use it as, if I remember correctly, Craftsy works better on it too.

Hi Maria,

I purchased a Christmas Tree called Tree-mendous Tree a couple winters ago.  I couldn't remember where I purchased the design, but here is a youtube video on how to do it.  You should be able to download it again, unless they don't keep your information and orders.

Here is the design:

Hope this is of some help to you.

Don't understand why it won't open now as I saw it originally.  Cleaned out my computer and rebooted.  We have fiber-optic cable... if it worked once, and won't open again....?

BFC-Creations has a large Christmas tree. It is plain and meant to be
embellished after embroidering. Here's the link.

I’m not sure what “ability” you are talking about. I do know that the 9900 doesn’t have the large hoops that the 12000 and 15000 have.

Doesn't the 9900 also have that ability

I am on this site a lot and notice that some questions are asked many times.

I'm just wondering if everyone knows that you can do a search at the top of the page, where it says "Search Conversations"

For instance, I searched "stitches grayed out" a question that comes up quite a lot, and conversations that answer that question comes up.  Also I searched "differences between 12000 and 15000, and those conversations came up.

SO, if you are having some difficulty and are trying to find an answer "RIGHT NOW" try doing a search and maybe you won't need to post your question.

I'm not sure what ability you are talking about.  I'm the one that posted the differences between the 12000 and 15000.

I did also look at the 9900 and noticed that the sewing area  was quite a bit smaller than these 2 machines.

I searched this group for "Christmas tree" because I had also seen the Christmas tree that I think you are asking about.    I found this link:  http://vickisfabriccreations.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2011-11-26T19:30:00-08:00&max-results=7

Hope this helps.
