I have created a new folder in the Files section called "Online Sewing". All of our projects will go there. Please click the link below.

The Hoop Holder project is now available in the Files section of this list: HoopHolder.pdf

I keep seeing references to a Hoop Holder with photos or instructions in the Files section.   I have found the Files section on the site but do not see anything about a Hoop Holder or instructions for something.  Can you tell me how to find these, please.

Carole

It is an awesome project. Very rewarding. I am waiting for 1 more zipper I ordered and then I can finish.

The hoop holder looks very neat and efficient...will need to give that a go.  Thank you...I know it was extra work for you and Diane, and very nice of you to do that.  I hope Diane's wrist is back to health now!

There are 2 the first was posted the second we just found out that there was misprint of the zippers.  We need 1 18 inch and( 2) 24 inch instead of one as printed.

We are reviewing the directions, as there was at least one error. Once they are corrected I will post a PDF to the Files section. This won't happen until tomorrow.

I went looking for the pattern, thinking it was in the files, but couldn't find it there or with Search. Is it still available? Thanks.

Re: Hoop Hoop Holder

Hi again Diane.  I thought that it needed a second side zipper.  Trust me it is not easy to design, make and write instructions.  I am about done with mine and will add the second the second zipper. I did make a few changes along the way for myself.  I will post pictures when I finish.  I decided to use duck cloth on the top and a printed design on that instead of doing the embroidery designs and then did back it with canvas using fusible batting in  between the front and back.  I also decided to line my pockets and used fusible batting between them.  It has bee a little challenging with the weight of it along the way, but I wanted to be sure that the hoops will stay sturdy.  thank you again so much for the pattern.  I have been thinking about this since it first came out when I had my 12,000 and decided now that I have my 15,000 I better get going.

Will post pictures later,

Virginia (Ginger)

Oh my gosh. It should say 2 -24” zippers. This project was several years ago and lots of people made it so I can only guess that there was a later version and somehow we grabbed the wrong one this time. I’m so sorry.

The side zipper is one zipper completely separated, with half of it sewn on each side. When you put on the pull it will join the two halves and zip it up.

Jim: I have one more question on the hoop holder for Diane.  Just about done.  Hopefully my question is not dumb.  The instructions say 2 zippers.  One goes on the pocket and the other on the side of the holder.  Am I wrong in thinking that we only have 1 zipper on the side and not 2 to zip up the sides when it is closed.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I did not want top post on Facebook again.

I received a one-time free download of AccuDesign with the purchase of my Quiltmaker 15000.  Can I use it on my laptop or does it have to be on an iPad?   My iPad is really old (Vs. 9.3.5).  My Horizon Link Suite is on my laptop.

Thanks for your help.

AcuDesign only works on devices that use iOS, which is the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

I upgraded from Jr to V4 to V5 and I have had to uninstall and reinstall it was fine, when you upgrade it knocks out the previous dongle so you just reinstall the latest version you have.  It isn’t a problem now with V5 no dongle is needed.
