Re: New file uploaded to onlinesewing-janome@groups.io
It’s in the message at the beginning of this thread. Here it is again: https://groups.io/g/onlinesewing-janome/files/Quilted%20Wreath.zip
It’s also in the Files section. |

At this point I rarely use IPad for transferring/viewing files or using the Janome Apps. I do watch your 15000 app from time to time
when needling some guidance or refresher. Computer screen is my preference to view details when working with files. Just my preference. As to what version IPad I have it is Gen 4 so the 11 will not update on my iPad per Apple. My version will stay at 10 with the latest update for my version. I want the IPad Pro with the larger screen but that is low on the priority list since I upgraded from the MC12000 to the newly released QuiltMaker MC15000 this year. Julia |

Dear Jim and Diane,
Thank you so much for your continued generosity! The wreath is lovely and I greatly appreciate that you included quilting files as well. I read through the directions and they seem very clear and the photos are very helpful. The only thing that had me wondering was the need to put the stabilizer in the hoop a certain way but then I realized that Diane was probably tried to save stabilizer! Thanks for that reminder. I hope both of you have a joyous Christmas! Ceil |

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. Jim, you and Diane, are amazing!!! You take such good care of us. Thank you for the beautiful wreath pattern. I love it. I was just about ready to tell you that I just can't get it to download to my IPad, when I saw your comment about it not happening for whatever reason. I did get it to download to my laptop. Yea!!! Thanks again, Gwen Lawson Lafayette, Indiana |

Re: Cloud Storage
I don't want to get ANY bills in my mailbox. The reason is that they can be stolen too easily. Why would anyone steal a bill? In the case of a credit card, it gives them the tools to use your card, change the address, request a new card, and more without alerting you. Until you get a past-due notice you might not even realize that you didn't get the bill. That said, I wouldn't want to get a reminder from my dentist on Yahoo mail. Now that Verizon owns it they are using all of the services to generate revenue through advertising, so it's one more avenue for tracking people. I use iCloud for email, and Gmail for sites that I know will send spam.
Speaking of mail (snail variety), if you have not yet signed up for "Informed Delivery" you should do so now. This free service from the US Postal Service sends you daily emails with images of the items scanned for that day's delivery. This is helpful for these reasons: - If I'm expecting something important I will know in advance the day it is coming. - The scanner light often shows enough of the contents of mail to show me it's junk without even opening it. - Once I've signed up for the service, nobody else can. Thieves have been signing up for the service so they know what to steal from a mailbox. |

Sending a huge "thank you" to Diane and to you, Jim! This project is very very pretty. Diane's talent and creativeness is just breathtaking. I am sure that was a successful class that she taught and people left very happy with their project.
