Re: 15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
Pixey,
I have used it with the 15000 with no issues. I have my machine on a conference table so there is a lot of room behind the arm too but I don't think it would be an issue on a smaller table.

15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
I have noticed that all the videos for the DIME Weightless Quilter are done on embroidery machines with hoops driven from the side. Has anyone used it with a 15000 and if so, are there any issues

Re: MC Janome 550e
I think to use both USB’s you’d still have to do things one at a time and it really wouldn’t be time saving as you would be going back and forth, but in the process changing which of 1 or 2 USB

Re: MC Janome 550e
This adapter is perfect actually. It is a two-pack...one will face the plug upwards...the other downward. Up is probably better..then use a velcro set up ( i.e. gorilla tape!!) to secure cable so

Potentially yes, If you were working on a hooping layout on screen in the edit mode and were pulling in a variety of designs that you had stored on 2

Re: MC Janome 550e
I'm new to my 15000 so I don't have enough experience to know. Would there be a need to use both USB ports at the same time? I'm picturing using one of these in just one port.

I was thinking you were talking about attaching a dongle like I have to for all my computers now. Wouldn’t that work? Attach a dongle and leave it there and just plug the USB sticks into and out of

No worries at all, Mattes. I was just copying and pasting the posting title for items I found to show the kind of information I needed. I have no idea what a USB-C or USB-A is but your answer helped

I would not use any extensions on my 15000 I have heard many nightmares as to what can happen with the ports. I have one on my computer. Less expensive to replace a computer than a 15000QCP.

I thought I read somewhere not to put a hub on the 15000 only a single USB ext cable.
I did use one for a while and it worked well, butI moved the machine, and crushed the cable. I’m not sure I

With Kathy mentioning USB-C I was assuming she refers to "the other side", now: How to connect the stick to her computer if it doesn't provide a USB-A port. I

Re: Buttonhole inquiry
Kathy, I hope all issues with your machine are easily resolved. It’s a pita when machines don’t do what they are supposed to do regardless which machine it is.
I live in Florida and I, too, think
