Re: Embroidery Design Question
I’ve had very good luck converting PES files to JEF files, when JEF files weren’t available. The converted file sewed out nicely. The main difference I noted was that the colors wouldn’t always

Re: Embroidery Design Question
I would recommend considering a different designer that does offer JEF files. Even though software will do it, converting stitch files, especially complex ones with layers and a lot of color changes

Dual Feed foot
Just finished my first Minky project, a baby quilt, and, again want to sing the praises of the dual feed foot. This time I used the large one and two of the attachments. The photo in my album shows

Re: Converting Cross Stitch pattern to embroidery file possible?
As you do not have Digitizer MBX, I would recommend a stand alone software called Patternmaker. You need to buy the Standard and the Machine Embroidery add-on. I have used this software for over 15

Thanks for that info about the Janome Thread Stand. I didn’t know that was available. Will definitely be ordering it from my dealer.

Yes, I am using Janome Digitizer 5
I think Crossstitch was included in MBX4.5. I had not really looked at it until Trevor showed how to use it in one of his Digitizer workshops.

Okay, so I am assuming from responses that you are using MBX software. I don't have that software.
Ideally I was looking for a way to scan a cross stitch pattern and then import to a software so I

Re: Thread problem? Photos
You can buy a Janome thread stand for two or 5 threads, it sits on the back of the machine, there’s two screws just under the hand, and they come out and the thread stand sits on them and the screws

Re: janome quilt topper
I'll try again, and better, to explain the benefits of the DIME Quilt Topper. As some have noted, yes, it comes with no instructions, and there's virtually nothing on the internet about using it.
