Every time the machine is turned on it runs a self-test. This message comes up when the test fails, but you have no way of knowing what phase failed or what caused the problem. Usually it has to do

Re: Please see picture below
Just a thought: there are three ways to raise the presser foot. Could something with the knee lift be causing this. Try putting the knee lift in and raising and lowering the presser foot with that,

Re: stitches screen
Everyone encounters this sooner or later. You have the single-hole needle plate installed. Change back to the regular plate and the other stitches will return.

Re: MBX Question - How Designs Load into MBX software
Cheryl, when my son played hockey I made skate rags for the kids every year. I used an old hockey player motif from Janome (I think) and put the kids name and number on the towel. Easy to embroider

Re: MBX Question
Your explanation is exactly correct. The design needs to be grouped all together so that the tool can work properly.
Also note In the Layout tool you have a choice if you want designs to be grouped

We've been out of the business now for 8 years (Wow - seems more like 8 months!), and I have slept since we closed. I seem to recall the MBX 4.5 was not a free upgrade to MBX 4.0. Digitizer updates

Thank you so much! I don't know if that will work with what I'm doing, but if not, I can definitely use the information on some other projects.
