Don't forget about that trace basting. That 14 hoop with its roundness does waste a lot of fabric. I wanted to put a corner design on the corner of a ready made placemat (the design was a corner

Thanks Cheryl. Wasn't sure where this library site was located so just Googled Kenny's Korner and found it. Is there a library site on this forum? Sorry, I'm kind unfamiliar with forums yet!

Marla,
On the embroidery library site, if you go to Kenny's Corner, there is lots of embroidery help. We seem to be doing well on this forum as well. I'm glad you got your machine back and that all

Hi,
What my dealer told me was to NEVER use a large USB. The processors in our sewing machines don't like them. Also remember that the larger they are the longer it will take to load designs into

Thanks, that's what I think too! I was having tension problems with my new 12000, but seems fine now.

Re: Question regarding stitch out -- Some suggestions
Thanks for the data for this embroidery pattern.I purchased this and will attempt to make it, not sure if I'll use my 12000 (Mercury) or MB4 (Tron). BTW - I am still also waiting for my Digitizer

Re: I finished stitching out The Tree -- 3 things I forgot to mention
Make sure you use themagnets on the SQ23 and GR hoops!! When stitching a section of the tree inthe SQ23 hoop, move it to the upper right. There are two pictures in thegroup photo’s in my Album

Firstly, I do not find that the design is overly dense at all. Thedigitizer did a fine job. The density of the design, on the satin stitch edgesis not the problem. In my case I’m pretty sure I could

Re: How Much Top Thread Should Show on Underside of Embroidery?
A simple "rule of thumb" is 1/3 - 1/3 - 1/3 of top - bobbin - top thread. If you are not using Janome bobbin thread you should use the yellow dot case and you should get the 'thirds' result.

Re: How Much Top Thread Should Show on Underside of Embroid...
In the hoop embroidery you use the yellow dot. It has a littletighter tension which is good.
You used the right one.
