Re: Accu Feed
Actually Pfaff have the original dual feed system on their machines the IDT system which is brilliant, also Bernina have a built in dual feed on the 830 which will operate with all stitches.

Re: Accu Feed
Janome hasn’t limited our options at all. Instead they have added afeature the other machines do not have and that is the differential feed. Differential feed is usually only found on a serger.

Re: Dissappointed Embroidering Kids' Shirts
Also my dealer really likes the basting option in the embroidery mode. You can stick the T shirt on the sticky stabilizer, then before actually embroidering it, put a double basting stitch around it

Re: Edit a Design
Yes, you can, open the design in edit mode, save it to a usb drive and transfer to your computer. I've done that for a few of the designs.

Our Janome Educator uses all the stitches with the accufeed foot. Ihave used many of them myself with no problem. Just do not select theAccufeed option and all the stitches are available for use.

If you don't 'tell' the 12000 you are going to use the accufeed foot by hitting the button, it won't grey out all the stitches. Just select they stitch you want with the accufeed foot attached. Some

Re: Dissappointed Embroidering Kids' Shirts
Could you hoop sticky stabilizer and just 'stick' your shirt to it and achieve your project? My dealer has good luck with that approach.
