Re: 15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
Thanks for the different perspectives. At this point, I already have too many other projects in progress and am not looking for a DIY solution. In the past, I have mostly done smaller quilting

Re: 15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
I made a weightless quilter with a garment rack on wheels, bungee cords and clamps. I could use one more bungee but this is working great in the meantime. There are other weightless quilters on line

Re: 15000 goofed up screen
That explains it. There is a bug in the 15000 software that causes this. If the HD plate (trusting memory on this one, possibly wrong) is installed when the machine is in embroidery mode, it locks up

Re: 15000 goofed up screen
Thanks Jim. It didn’t help. I tried many times. Finally I had the idea to switch the needle plate and as soon as I popped it off the message cleared. Very strange.

Turn the machine off. Remove the USB stick. Turn the machine back on. That should reset everything.

15000 goofed up screen
Hello, I foolishly turned my 15,000 on and put in a USB stick to reformat it and noticed when it was too late that it was asking me resume last pattern OK or X. And now I am stuck with that coming up

Pixey,
I have used it with the 15000 with no issues. I have my machine on a conference table so there is a lot of room behind the arm too but I don't think it would be an issue on a smaller table.

15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
I have noticed that all the videos for the DIME Weightless Quilter are done on embroidery machines with hoops driven from the side. Has anyone used it with a 15000 and if so, are there any issues

Re: MC Janome 550e
I think to use both USB’s you’d still have to do things one at a time and it really wouldn’t be time saving as you would be going back and forth, but in the process changing which of 1 or 2 USB

Re: MC Janome 550e
This adapter is perfect actually. It is a two-pack...one will face the plug upwards...the other downward. Up is probably better..then use a velcro set up ( i.e. gorilla tape!!) to secure cable so

Potentially yes, If you were working on a hooping layout on screen in the edit mode and were pulling in a variety of designs that you had stored on 2

Re: MC Janome 550e
I'm new to my 15000 so I don't have enough experience to know. Would there be a need to use both USB ports at the same time? I'm picturing using one of these in just one port.

I was thinking you were talking about attaching a dongle like I have to for all my computers now. Wouldn’t that work? Attach a dongle and leave it there and just plug the USB sticks into and out of
