Re: MAC Apple with 15000
15000 only works with iPad. I have transferred to 15000 with Janome V5.5, but that’s windows software. It doesn’t work with iMac or apple phones or laptops.

You would probably still need a second machine for sewing and finishing.

MAC Apple with 15000
For some reason I think Apple Macs work with the 15000 and horizon suite that came with my machine. After doing some reading tonight, I am confused. Does the MAC WiFi to the machine? Is there an

Thank you so much. I think I agree
Does the 550e have same hoops and is the quality of the embroidery the same or better?

Pauline,
If I had it to do now (and while I love my 15000) I would go for the 550e and the M7. :)

Re: 15000 and DIME Weightless Quilter
Took my 12000 to shop. Hoping it is a minor problem.
Thinking if I need to replace the machine I might go to embroidery only.
Any thoughts

I’m not sure what was where when it happened but the bug is now squashed. Thanks Jim.

Thanks for the different perspectives. At this point, I already have too many other projects in progress and am not looking for a DIY solution. In the past, I have mostly done smaller quilting

I made a weightless quilter with a garment rack on wheels, bungee cords and clamps. I could use one more bungee but this is working great in the meantime. There are other weightless quilters on line

That explains it. There is a bug in the 15000 software that causes this. If the HD plate (trusting memory on this one, possibly wrong) is installed when the machine is in embroidery mode, it locks up

Thanks Jim. It didn’t help. I tried many times. Finally I had the idea to switch the needle plate and as soon as I popped it off the message cleared. Very strange.

Turn the machine off. Remove the USB stick. Turn the machine back on. That should reset everything.
