You will need to put the designs in the EmbF folder. I am not sure what you mean when you say “the machine does not read all the hoop changes in the pattern”. Do you mean different sizes? If so

I think that I have probably mentioned in previous messages that I LOVE making stitches with Stitch Composer!

I probably should also have mentioned that your machine won’t recognize a design that won’t fit inside your hoop…and it knows what hoop sizes are available.

Interior hoop area ‘physical’ measurements accommodate ‘jogging the needle’ (keys circled as “8” on pg 99 of the 9850 manual) with some extra room so the embroidery foot (hopefully) never

The largest hoop that came with the Janine 9850 is 8.5” x 9.25” measured from inside edge to inside edge.

I believe the largest hoop for the 9850 is 6.7” x 7.9”
So the biggest square you could do would be 6.7 “ x 6.7”

Gwen----Yes, it is frustrating that your machine has more wrong with it than before you took it in to your dealer for its Spa Day. I have had similar experiences in the past, from different dealers.

I've had a similar problem with my 15000 after it was upgraded to Quiltmaker. The upper tension discs aren't opening, which causes the thread to break. It is like when the presser foot is down and
