Re: Alternate way to thread/wind a Janome bobbin?
I make a folder on my email site, and just save the whole email. Then I can find it when I want to see it

Re: Alternate way to thread/wind a Janome bobbin?
I'm still not sure about the winding speed. I've had Janomes since the mid 80's and have always been told to wind at the highest speed as that supposedly makes for a better bobbin. Lately I have had

Re: Prewound bobbins size for the Janome 15000 (AND all Janome-made machines)
Tracy, do you mean the "J" bobbins...prewounds by Janome? That's all I buy, but I don't have issues winding thread on them when I need to load a color onto a "J" bobbin.

Re: Alternate way to thread/wind a Janome bobbin?
It's not new to me. I have wound bobbins like that on machines for many years. I also thread the takeup lever on the 15000 backwards like that. Otherwise, the thread tends to jump out of the takeup

Re: Prewound bobbins size for the Janome 15000 (AND all Janome-made machines)
L size bobbins are not as tall when you set them on your sewing table/desk, as the Class 15 (also known as Size A like Jim said) bobbins. Janome machines are made with a deeper area for the bobbin

Re: Prewound bobbins size for the Janome 15000
To enable the use of L prewounds, you can use a Bobbin Genie or silicone washer of the correct size under the bobbin, my dealer recommended this many years ago. I purchased Coats prewounds in bulk in

I think Janome contract out to a company to make the prewond bobbins and then puts their name on them for a higher price. If you can find out who has the contract they are probably available at a more

Wondering too…….Diane placed the bobbin on the winder, with the thread tail down….any reason for this?
Also, she cris-crossed when threading the take up leaver. Left to right.

If you "like" a video Youtube keeps a list of them (forever) under Menu...usually left upper corner of webpage, next to their logo.
New to embroidery machines but lifetime web-user!

Not all L bobbins and size 15 are the same. I’ve always found it best to use only Janome bobbins, supplied in the Janome blister pack. I did try size L prewound bobbins and the are slightly

I've been out of the business for 10 years now, but as I recall size L is shorter than Class 15. An equivalent would be size A.

On the YouTube site you can subscribe to the videos on that page, which will let you know if/when we publish new ones. There are probably ways to mark as favorite, but I'm not very astute on YouTube,

Prewound bobbins size for the Janome 15000
I have had my 15000 for 5 years and I love it. I have been using size L pre wound bobbins for embroidery and have been pretty lucky. Occasionally a bobbin acts up and that one goes in the garbage. I

Well I hate to ask this, but how do you mark it as a favorite? Sorry to bother you with this, but I am new to Janome and this is a whole new way to wind my bobbin! I don’t want to lose this video.
