Re: Janome HD Roller Foot for Janome 7mm and 9mm High Shank Machines
Janome dealers should all carry the foot compatible with the 15000. Just last week I asked my dealer about it and am scheduled to go in and test it out before purchasing it.
It's pretty expensive so

Re: Diane's DIY magnetic hoop
Interesting that you say you always heard that the thread should come off the bottom not the top of the spool when in the horizontal position!
I always have heard and done the opposite, Off the Top!

Janome HD Roller Foot for Janome 7mm and 9mm High Shank Machines
I have just watched video for a roller foot that has a small 'tire' on the side. It can be used for free motion quilting, stitch in the ditch and much more. It was originally meant for sewing

I've used all kinds of combos and they all seemed to work well. What I always do is test them out first. That way, if there is a problem, you'll be either able to tweek it or not use it. I make up

I've never tried 60 wt Bottom Line thread in the bobbin. Can I use an Aurfil 50wt in top since the Bottom Line is finer? I have used Wunderfil 100 wt but only for machine applique for a 'no show'

I'm sure it will be announced at Janome Institute, to be held (virtually? somewhere?). Beyond that I have no clue.

New Top of the Line Janome Machines?
Say Jim, any speculations for what's on the horizon for our Horizons since it's the 100th Anniversary?
I'm not as acquainted with Janome's release dates as I am with Apples ;P
Thanks,
Marsha

Which bobbin did you use? I used the blue dot as Diane suggested. I also used 50wt thread top and bottom. Any suggestions if using a different thread?
