Hi Vicki: If the screw is loosened enough ..... not so loose it falls out but just a bit more than needed for the old needle to slide out .... and you push the needle up as far as you can .... it is

The HD roller foot is perfect. It stitches next to the hooks and the roller keeps it moving evenly.

You can pull the bobbin winder ”flat bed” up over the spindle – it takes a bit of force, but once done, you will know how to do it the next time. Then just remove the threads by either cutting
