Re: Janome News Email?
Vikkie,
I think you just paid for ALL of the shipping. I don’t think that Janome and probably many companies DO NOT pay for any of the shipping costs once the machine is out of warranty or if it

Re: Janome V5.5 icon stitch label change
Did you by chance install Wilcom True Sizer? One of the absurdities of Windows is that whatever software is installed LAST for a particular file type (e.g. JEF, PES, etc.) will take over as the icon

Janome V5.5 icon stitch label change
I used my 5.5 yesterday and all was as usual, today I’ve opened the software and where normally all my stitch files in the manage designs menu showed the design and below a square with a D in it,

Re: Error message installing Digitizer V5.5
What's going on here is that Digitizer is sending a message to the Wilcom server in Australia to register your installation. This is done in a message using extended markup language (XML). Error code

Error message installing Digitizer V5.5
I thought my upgrade installation was going fine until I came to registering the software. All installed, USB removed and computer restarted. I open the program and get the screen to put in my Product

Re: WAS Janome News Email?, NOW Shipping machines for repair
I checked my accounting program but in itemizing didn’t specify shipping/handling as such – just the name of the quilt shop.
The machine started “chattering” after I used the cutter to cut

Re: WAS Janome News Email?, NOW Shipping machines for repair
Hi Vicki, Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me what Janome paid to send it back to you in Houston? How many days did they keep it before sending ?
Did you pay them or how was this handled. Did you

Re: Janome News Email?
I sent my 15000 up to Janome in New Jersey. It was sent thru my LQS where I had bought the machine. I would suggest contacting Janome to get a shipping order as the amount I paid to send it up there

Re: Janome News Email?
I know of 2 that have sent machines but not the 15,000. One was the 500 and the other the 12,000 both for constant thread breakage. Both were repaired and the dealer took the cost not the customer.

Re: Janome News Email?
Yes, for those of us with limited space, a 5 thread serger with air threading would be great.

Re: Janome News Email?
I’m hoping that there will be just new updates and gizmos for the 15000 like a stitch regulator

Re: Janome News Email?
I wonder if they will replace the 15000, where they came out with the upgrade last year for the 9400 and the 15,000. I remember when the 11,000SE came out they waited almost 3 years before replacing

It follows Janome Institute, so it's probably a new top of line machine.

Re: S7 Feed Dogs Pulling Unequally?
It turns out the problem with not the machine itself but the vinyl Clearly Perfect Angles I was using. Though it didn't really feel sticky, I cleaned it with glass cleaner and no more pulling.

Janome News Email?
Anyone know what the Janome announcement will be about next week? Just curious if it's machine- or software-related.
