Re: WAS Janome News Email?, NOW Shipping machines for repair
I checked my accounting program but in itemizing didn’t specify shipping/handling as such – just the name of the quilt shop.
The machine started “chattering” after I used the cutter to cut

Hi Vicki, Thanks for your reply. Can you tell me what Janome paid to send it back to you in Houston? How many days did they keep it before sending ?
Did you pay them or how was this handled. Did you

Re: Janome News Email?
I sent my 15000 up to Janome in New Jersey. It was sent thru my LQS where I had bought the machine. I would suggest contacting Janome to get a shipping order as the amount I paid to send it up there

Re: Janome News Email?
I know of 2 that have sent machines but not the 15,000. One was the 500 and the other the 12,000 both for constant thread breakage. Both were repaired and the dealer took the cost not the customer.

Re: Janome News Email?
Yes, for those of us with limited space, a 5 thread serger with air threading would be great.

Re: Janome News Email?
I’m hoping that there will be just new updates and gizmos for the 15000 like a stitch regulator

Re: Janome News Email?
I wonder if they will replace the 15000, where they came out with the upgrade last year for the 9400 and the 15,000. I remember when the 11,000SE came out they waited almost 3 years before replacing

Re: Janome News Email?
It follows Janome Institute, so it's probably a new top of line machine.

Re: S7 Feed Dogs Pulling Unequally?
It turns out the problem with not the machine itself but the vinyl Clearly Perfect Angles I was using. Though it didn't really feel sticky, I cleaned it with glass cleaner and no more pulling.

Janome News Email?
Anyone know what the Janome announcement will be about next week? Just curious if it's machine- or software-related.

Re: 15000 cutting thread too short
Your bottom thread cut controls the top as well
Perhaps your thread is putting too much tension on the top when it cuts. What brand is it? Also have you changed your tensions at all? Remember your

Re: 15000 cutting thread too short
Hi Ceil: I wondered about the thread, too, but I am using the same 60 wt. Aurifil that I always do. I tried changing the needle, to see if that made a difference, but it doesn’t seem to. Still

Re: 15000 cutting thread too short
Yes go to your embroidery setting (check your manual) and you can set your thread length. I have mine set on 1/8.
