Re: New Machine?
One feature I would really like on a new model and would buy up for is to able to bring all stitches INCLUDING buttonholes into the hoop. Pfaff has had this for fifteen years and is such a useful

I have not had a chance to play with it much yet, but I think the S9 Tools that were on the CD that came with the machine are similar to HorizonLink Suite, but customized specifically for the S9 in

I wish they'd upgrade Stitch Composer: 1) have a virtual stitching screen to see what you're stitch might look like without having to take it to the machine and test it; 2) access to ALL the built-in

Re: Version 5.5
Janome will still support digitizer V5.5. They posted in December that they will continue the support.

I don't know the answer, but I am curious as to what new features people would be hoping for?

Re: AcuFeed Flex
I just tried the regular HP foot using the fabric guide that I have never used before. It worked really nice and I can see how the HP2 would really be nice! I think I will see about getting one.

Re: Thread problem? Photos
I use quality poly threads and, other than Glide, have not experienced shredding as mentioned. The Glide thread settled part through the reel. I do use a cotton or prewound matching colour (not Glide)

Re: WiFi and setting quilt dimensions
I did get one help request from someone who could not get WiFi to work at all, even with Janome's help. It turned out that she was using the picture in the 15000 manual to set up her machine.

Yes the 12000 came with one and the 15000 has its own. Both are a different size.
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.

Re: Version 5.5
I just ordered the 5.5 upgrade to version 5 from my dealer for $224.70 including tax.
My dealer is in Indiana. Janome said they will not be supporting the upgrade.
Thanks to everyone who has talked

Re: Thread problem? Photos
Glide is a tri-lobal polyester, which like other polys will fray/shred with the easiest excuse. Try using a metallic rather than top-stitch needle. The metallic also has a large eye and groove, but

Carole did you install the HL for the quilt maker or upgrade your existing HL. I had to contact Janome for a code to upgrade to the quilt maker HL

If you look in your manual it shows the table. If you purchased from a dealer you should have received it
