Re: Tension
Try flossing out the tension. Fold a narrow strip of fabric in half. Lock the machine. Put the folded edge into the tension slot and floss it back and forth. Hopefully that will dislodge the debris

MBX 4.5
Jim,
I am getting a dialog box asking for access codes when trying to load MBX 4.5, picture in the photos section. Is this a driver issue? Can you please tell me how to fix this?
thanks

Thread
Is a 40wt (Superior King Tut) thread too heavy to use to quilt a small quilt using Acufil (stipple design)? Label says: Use topstitch #90/14. Is that needle too large to use for an Acufil design?

For security purposes the list software obscures part of email addresses. To respond to Marilyn's post about her 15000 for sale email her using this address with the blank spaces removed: sewnqlt21842

Re: Happy Sewer
Photos are easiest to add if you make your post from the group website: https://groups.io/g/onlinesewing-janome
You just click the photo icon in the message window and upload them.

I'm new at the photo add so not sure if it went. At first two photos were so large I deleted them, then tried adding them as an attachment. It disappeared, so will wait until tomorrow to see if

The manual lists it as 859835101. The zipper foot is 859838001. See page 3.

Happy Sewer
I've discovered the small dual feed foot, used it on the application of binding on a sewing bag. It had to go over thick vinyl straps and didn't even flinch. One of the reasons I purchased the 15000

Re: Question
I think that you will be lucky to be allowed $3000 for your 12000. I traded my 12000 even up for an Elna 860 which was $2,885 - less than $3000 and this was 3 years ago. The 12000 is already 7-8
