Re: My 15000 Updates
I think I watched most of the videos, but didn’t find the new troubleshooter videos. Is it because I have the older ipad? I updated again this morning to make sure.

I only got the protector for the smaller left side. You have confirmed what I thought—screen protector. I don’t even embroider all that much compared to the rest of you and the metal is

When I got my 15k, I also received only the right side protector. I went to Dollar Tree and bought a pack of tablet screen protectors and put one on. No scratches now.

Re: Protecting Embroidery Surface of 15000
I had gotten extra thin plastic film from Janome when I had my 12000.
I was thinking the same thing about putting the film to the right of the needle for the QM 15000.
I think I'll inquire with my

Re: Protecting Embroidery Surface of 15000
You really do not need a protectant for the right side. Your hoop moves left to right and the bed is stainless steel.
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.

Protecting Embroidery Surface of 15000
All -
When I purchased my 15000, I received a thin plastic film to put over the area to the left of the needle plate. This was to protect the surface from the movement of the embroidery hoop. I did

Re: My 15000 App Question
Jim: I don't have the MY 15000 app. That is what I was trying to buy and got that message about 11.
Back in May, I purchased the Quilt Maker MC15000 and now was trying to buy your app for that

Re: My 15000 App Question
Jim: I tried that last night and the message I got was my IPad was up to date.
Thanks,
Julia
[My mistake! Apparently there are some iPads that are compatible with iOS 10, but NOT compatible with 11.

Re: My 15000 Updates
If your 12000 reads Version 1.2. that is and will be the last update and upgrade for the Janome 12.000. It was one of my favorite machines. I had it for 6 and 1/2 years before my 15,000

Re: My 15000 App Question
Yes, that's to be expected. I set iOS 11 as the base version because every iPhone/iPad that is capable of using iOS 10 should also be able to update to iOS 11. Go to Settings -> General -> Software

My 15000 App Question
Hi Jim:
I went to buy the app and a message came up that said I had to have software version 11 on my iPad.
My iPad goes only to version 10.3 and I do not plan to purchase a newer IPad at this time.
