I'm afraid it's back to the dealer again. Either something is disconnected or a sensor is misadjusted, but it's not something you can fix.

When I want to buy designs from other countries, I use a credit card through PayPal. Due to new banking regulations as of June, 2017, a US bank may not send funds like PayPal money from a checking

i recently got the new upgrade, used needle threader for first time, it did not work, I am getting error that will not go away (!Raise Presser Foot and Needle Bar then turn Power on Again), HELP!

My fear is that, if I download "free" designs from questionable sites (and I use more out of US designs than in US), that I will be downloading some kind of thing onto my computer that I don't want.

You were told correctly for the devices you have. Those devices use the iOS operating system. Every app on iOS runs in its own "sandbox" that does not have access to anything in any other app. To use
