Oops, I didn’t scroll down. The Bosal In-R form does come in fusible. It is not fleece though so you would need to add a liner if you use it.

I think I used the white sew in. I don’t think it comes in fusible. It’s not fleece though, more like a thin foam.

Another option is Embrilliance which works on both Mac and PC and you can have it on more than one computer. It too comes in modules so you buy only the level you want. There are a lot of youtube

The difficulty for beginners is that when they are looking around, they don't know what they don't know.

I'm glad (in a way) to be reading that some are not pleased with the Artistic software as I was ready to jump on this when it came out. That clearly would have been a mistake and now I'll wait to see

Be careful with the program not being a Wilcom product you may have support issues. The dealers do not always have the interest in software support. Since MBX version 5 came out Janome has provided

The Artistic Creative digitizer is NOT a Wilcom product. We won't know how it compares to MBX (or Hatch) until January 30 when it gets officially released.

I understand the 3858402009 fits your machine but Janome site clearly lists three groups of machines and three separate part numbers for a 2 spool holder. I could have ordered any of these from Amazon

Sorry, forgot to add that you might not have the right shape thread guide. The S9 needs a round hole thread guide. But, again, I think the thread stand you received from Janome UK is a part number
