Re: Machine freezing
You could spray baste the quilt with products from the store. Or you could glue baste it with Elmer’s school glue. That’s what I use. I put it in a micro-tip bottle I bought on ebay and lightly

HP Foot
Today I have looked at the new HP foot and Needle Plate. The Plate has only one hole for the needle and the foot has a hole to the right of the slit. What is that hole for, feel stupid asking this

Re: Machine freezing
We were told at an Janome education presentation not to use an old P foot with the new upgrade as it would damage the needle threader.

Loved all your responses! I can face any kind of repair, as long as I don't need a new machine. Since there really isn't a replacement on the market yet, I couldn't even buy a trade in 🤔 Does

Mine was upgraded/updated Tuesday. I have had no problems. I have not used the new extra feet yet, but the p foot and needle threader work great.

I'm beginning to think I won't bother with the update - haven't actually installed the one for couching either. What benefit does this upgrade give you?
I'm probably only really thinking about it as
