I would NOT use a twin needle to do flat fell seams; there is just one bobbin thread which I think might get caught or wear out over time making all of your stitches come out :(

I don’t know the answer to your question but I am interested to see if theskyline stitched thru that much thickness. Seems like a lot
of these newer machines just wont do it. Not like the old

Took mine to my wonderful dealer today! While I was there he updated the machine with the software, new feet, and needle threader which he checked many time to ensure that it worked. The update was

Took my 15000 to the shop Tuesday for the update and hoping to get it back tomorrow. My dealer here in Colorado charged $149.99 plus tax (another $13.64). This dealer also sells Babylock

You need to tent the quilt on the table around the sewing machine. That way you create slack to allow the hoop to move freely. I've done several quilts on my 12000 and never had distortion by doing it
