Took my 15000 to the shop Tuesday for the update and hoping to get it back tomorrow. My dealer here in Colorado charged $149.99 plus tax (another $13.64). This dealer also sells Babylock

You need to tent the quilt on the table around the sewing machine. That way you create slack to allow the hoop to move freely. I've done several quilts on my 12000 and never had distortion by doing it

I think it depends where you live. From what I understand the upgrade is free with the needle threader .The accessories are at a cost however the dealer has the option to charge labor.
