My Viking machine has a "Fix" function used when you start a stitching that you ant to anchor. What do I do on my 12000?
Is there an advantage to using the AcuFeed system for straight piecing? I

She recently acquired a gently used 12000. She purchased an AcuFil Tool, and unbeknownst to her,

MBX V5 activations and installing on Surface Pro
All,
I have upgraded from V4.5 to V5 on my laptop and as luck would have it, I now want to sell my laptop and use a Surface Pro device. I want to make sure that I understand the two activations

I live in Sun City West, about 60 miles from Mesa so wouldn't be able to go to classes there. Thanks for the info, looking for dealer in this area.

My sentiment also. Best decision i ever made concerning upgrade to 15000. It is quiet, has beautiful stitch quality and is a work horse when needed. Jim's Footbook and 15000 apps are great assets to

Mulqueen's in Mesa has Janome classes. might charge since you didn't buy there. There are also lots of clubs (usually $10. each) where we learn different emb techniques each week. Lots of sharing and

Re: Metal Seam Guide attachment
Oh I just remembered that I bought a sliding cloth guide from my local Janome dealer when I bought my first Janome mc3500 sewing machine about 15 years ago. The packet leaflet says it is part number

But for duplicating rows of straight stitching there is already the Border Guide foot. Maybe this new sliding foot can go

Re: janome Memory Craft 15000
I agree completely. I too have owned 5 Janome machines. The 15000 is by far the best. I've had mine a year, and use it weekly. It lets me be as creative as I want to be.

Upgrade to MBX 5.0
Have any of you upgraded to the MBX 5.0? If so, what are the changes and improvements in it?
One of the salesladies at my dealer's said that the upgrade would destroy the dongle that was required

I have the 15000, and I love it! The embroidery is outstanding, and the sewing is great, too.

I love my new 15,000, but do have some issues like the bobbin winding, it does not always work. I have had no training on the machine yet, as I bought my machine and we came directly to our winter
