Re: Anita Goodesign Class
Heather may I ask where you buy the poly batting/thermor. I have not heard of it? Thanks in advance.

Jim or Maggie or someone more knowledgeable than me...I know there was a file posted or I thought so about installing the MBX 5.0 upgrade. But I can't find it. So sorry! My upgrade is to arrive

That sounds beautiful, Estelle! I've seen Jacobean designs. Is that from Hatched from Africa? I have a few of their designs.

Reliable Iron
I have tried many brands of irons and was very disappointed.
Couple of years ago I tried a SHARK. I LOVE this iron. It does what the
advertising says. The steam works great, does not

I agree, Patti. I love seeing all the beautiful quilts. I will have to check out your projects. After 50 years of sewing I've done a lot of different projects but my main passion is clothing. I've

Re: Reliable Iron
I have a Rowenta 1700 watt iron that I bought at Lowe's about three years ago. I love it, have used it a lot. It heats quickly, has lots of steam, and has never clogged up even though I use limestone

Yes western outfits are expensive. I've also made her a sidesaddle outfit...that's an Arabian thing...lol. I would like to try using more of that Italian leather stuff but I'm to chicken to use a lot.

Irons
The Larastar has changed my sewing life. Expensive, but absolutely incredible! Check out their USA website. A much less expensive iron but pretty good is called Reliable.

Re: Reliable Iron
I love my Reliable iron. Separate steam plant so takes a minute to get hot but then it is amazing for the steam.

Re: Anita Goodesign Class
I have some of her quilt block design sets and really like them. I use a light weight poly batting called thermor so they are softer/more flexible. They are not so dense as hoop sisters and finish

Congratulations. That is a good savings on the show outfits and a lot of work, she is lucky to have such a talented mother.
I made my daughter’s wedding dress and embroidered Jacobean flowers all

Thanks Cas - Great Videos from Nancy Z!
I think the technique from Nancy Zieman looks great, I was wondering if you have tried the process Cas, and did it work?
I am a sometimes garment sewist, I used

Glad to hear there are some more horse people out there. I show western pleasure quarter horses, so I make all my own outfits, too, because they are so expensive.

Re: Anita Goodesign Class
I find Anita Goodesign designs somewhat dense. I think it would be a fund idea for you where you have an embroidery machine to take the class it will give you great ideas and teach you the quilt in
