Re: Changing needle with heavy embroidery?
I have found a solution for the threader issue – hit the “up/down” button a couple of times. Also if the needle gets even slightly bent, it won’t thread properly. Also hit the “lock”

Re: Problems with Converted Designs on my 15000
I have had problems with designs I created in 6D when Exported as jef. Most of the problems seem to be in the fills from what I've seen. Haven't tried a test with Premier yet.

Re: Has anyone used the free Pulse Ambassador to resize designs?
I know the subject link is about Pulse Ambassador, but part of the email had a request about the Horizon Link program.
“Simple instruction” for the Horizon Link program is an oxymoron! My LQS

Re: Problems with Converted Designs on my 15000
I use Embird and convert most of my designs from pes or vip format to jef or jef+. I formerly was a Pfaff and Brother person. I have had a Janome MB4 for a few years and started converting for that

Problems with Converted Designs on my 15000
Does anyone else have problems with designs converted from another format to JEF, then stitched out on their 15000? I have both 6D and Floriani Total Control U as editing software. When I am finished

Re: Has anyone used the free Pulse Ambassador to resize designs?
I've had the program for quite a while, but when I went to try it out again lately, couldn't figure out how to use it 😕 Same thing with Wilcom TrueSizer. I have Wilcom (another impulse purchase)

When you were embroidering the hoop sisters how often did you change your needle after all that intense embroidery

Well that’s why I thought embroidery was included in the on time, because Iembroidered for hours when I was doing Hoopsisters, but the machine only showed8 hours. I guess I was spending hours

Ceil,
I'm visualizing those Vacuum Sealed Storage Bags they advertise on TV. We could get "hundreds" of projects squeezed into a bin! :)

Oh, yes! The zip lock bag! That would save even more space! Could probably fit about 20 started projects in one bin! Finding I don't need more projects, just more years. :)

Re: Has anyone used the free Pulse Ambassador to resize designs?
Pixey,
Do you remember to what percent you changed the designs? I'm interested to know if you went over the 20% mark. And glad to hear that someone else has used this free program!
Thanks,
Ceil

I've recently used this program. I had bought some free motions style quilting designs from the Anita Goodesign line. I wanted resize some that were close in shape but a little too big for the AQS

Re: Does the 15000 have a timer that shows how long it has been sewing?
The sewing time is just that – it is the period of time the needle is going up and down and actually making a stitch. It doesn’t include the time spent for ripping out stuff or other down time
