Interesting that this just came up. I was watching some of the videos on the 15000 app the other night and one of them was about free motion quilting…if you use the straight stitch 2 foot option

NO...I won't mention that one! We downsized for retirement and it seemed like such a good idea at the time. We should have spent some time living in the doll house before we bought it!

An easy way is to use felt. Just be sure it is not the cheaper thin kind. You would embroider your letter then cut your triangle to include enough at top to turn and stitch creating a

Banner?
I plan to make a banner, with each letter on a 7" triangle, hanging one next to each other on cord. What type fabric, stabilizer, etc. should I use so that it will hold up to use year after year?

I also use a Bernina when my Janome 15000 is busy or away. Check the stitch you are using. Is it a standard stitch or have you accidentally chosen a different stitch?

Hi, Have you checked to make sure the feed dogs are up and working, having the feed dogs down would cause this problem. Hope this helps. I had the Bernina 1230 lovely machine, traded it for a 630

Thanks Lyn, I am feeling better already.
You know that’s a good idea too, using the felt pads. We built anironing stand out of a desk and file cabinet and it is very heavy and it is onthe pads.

My 15000 went to the dealership on Monday for a needle threader replacement. Had to leave it for a week or so for repair. No problem sewing. Get out my trusty Bernina.
