The 15000 will read .dst files and .jef files. The Simple Cut software can convert any embroidery format into the jef file, however it cannot send it to a Brother Scan and Cut machine to cut,

I understand the dealer's position, but for me, I just couldn't afford that huge price. I have a 12000 that I bought from a dealer on eBay. It was a NEW machine; I wouldn't buy a used one off eBay.

When you go into embroidery mode and find the hoops, try to page forward - the hoop should show up there IF you installed the update on the sewing machine.

Thanks Virginia!! This is great news. I felt so dumb buying theScan and Cut when I should have got the Edge. I do like that the Scan andCut has a longer mat, so that’s how I made myself feel

Did my local shop offer actual classes or just 1 on 1 training sessions
