Jim, I have never used Twitter and have no plans to do so. Also, I am way over 40 and even though I have an iPhone and iPad, I have no clue what Periscope is. Camille Peters

Thanks for the extra info. I had noticed Periscope was on Apple TV4 so that's good - I don't give my mobile number to anyone except friends and family so maybe I'll just get a free pay as you go sim

Wow that's expensive. We have those types of things here in Sarasota Florida but usually is minimal and they give you free stuff so it makes it worth while.

Jim, I don't have an iPhone or Android phone. So if you go with Periscope only people with these devices can access the videos or have I misinterpreted what you are saying. But I do have a iPad.

If you want to continue to use the silicone spray, I suggest that you spray some of that stuff on a piece of batting and tape the batting to the top of the sewing machine somewhere in the thread path.

Make sure you have Favourite Stitch in the SET menu turned on.

Are you just selecting the straight stitch from the Utility menu or have you tried the Piecing application? This uses stitches Q1 to Q3 and allows you to use them with the straight stitch
