I originally bought this foot from Amazon for my 6600. Then I got the 15000, and decided to try it. It does fit, but you need to Install it from the right side of the needle. It is the Convertible

I agree with you! When I went to a class on how to use my 15000 I did not bring my machine and we used the one my dealer has for demos. I wanted that foot

Compensating foot for 15000?
I have a couple more questions -- again! Is there a compensating foot that will work on the 15000? The kind where the right side of the foot is lower than the left, sometimes called a bi-level foot?

Did you try keywords Convertible Freemotion? Janomes new website is nice but sometimes difficult to find things again. Also many google searches which come up are not linked to the new

I’ve been away and am catching up on digests. I will go look at the convertible foot I’ve got which has a closed metal circle, U shaped foot and the clear disc. It is for a high-shank machine

Another solution to this would be to rewind the bobbins onto Janome bobbins - the bobbins aren't expensive. The only issue would be time and that the pre-wounds may hold more thread than what the
